Mónica is an outstanding and enthusiastic problem solver. She’s the person that will help you unlock the best ideas and hands-on solutions. She’s restless, a hardworking and very bright person. It’s really rewarding to work with her (be aware of her cooking skills).

Mónica has teamed up with me for 6 months and I was quickly impressed with her. Her thoughtful yet proactive posture has brought in higher-than-expected results time and again. She was able to react quickly and embrace tough challenges, many of those, quite off her comfort zone. I also valued her strong customer-centric focus; quick learning abilities; and undeterred commitment to the team and company’s values. All in al,l it confirms her versatility as a professional without compromising on quality and lead-time. Therefore, I can only recommend Mónica in the strongest terms.

In partnership with the Indonesian Government, I volunteered to move to Bangka Island to help develop the local economy of one of the regions. Together with a multidisciplinary team, I have been working with the local businesses, improving their processes and business opportunities. Furthermore, I will be living in different countries / cultures according to the projects and necessities of different entities. Next project will toke place in the south of Philippines, consulting for a health care center of the community. After, and for the most challenging experience, I joinned a refugee camp in Myanmar. The main activities envolved providing health care to patients, however, I inniciated a small project envolving on of the shelters. Finally, I joinned a NGO in Vietnam, called Evergreen Labs, that collects low quality plastic from trash, to transform in raw material. Show less

What started just as a fun project for a startup contest, became an experience of a business development. The decision to pursue it was based on the need to learn interesting and necessary aspects that an architecture master didn’t give me and I felt it was important in a strategic point of view. This is also the same fact that made us stop pursuing it, once we became more aware of the specialization each of us wanted to follow.
