  This facility is an electronic enviroment. I transition all medical records employees in the job they formally had in the paper enviroment to the electronic enviroment. The electronic enviroment allows all to be cross trained in the prepping, scanning & indexing of the electronic medical record. Once this electronic medical information is captured within the system, then the trainging of how to access and process the coding, analysis, physicians incomplete, electronic corrections etc.is individualized per position. Knowledge of high volume scanners such as the Bell & Howell, and color scanners such as the fujitsu 5750 are required. Writting of policies & procedures required. Show less
