In August 2020 the ‘Viegli palīdzēt’ (Helping is Easy) association began the #FreeBelarusactivity to support residents of Belarus.Using the volunteer movement and in close cooperation with socially active Latvianbusinesses, this campaign involves collecting donations and providing social, legal andpsychological assistance to supporters of the Belarus democratic opposition who are victimsof violence by the authorities. Our main account is @free_belarus_lv on Twitter, and the live stream is available from 7am to 12am every day, including weekends.
