Head Of Internal Communications
-
Apr 2015 - Jan 2017
Eesti Energia has nearly 5800 employees. As an Internal Communications Manager, I leaded the team of three internal communication specialists. The biggest challenge for informing employees of Eesti Energia is the fact that 50% of the employees do not use computer for work and that is why we cannot share the information to them through digital channels. Therefore, we are using alternative ways: monthly newsletters, internal radio broadcast once a week in power station and oil plants and stands in all our production units. For employees working with computers, the main channel of corporate information is the internal web.In addition, we organize regular internal events in cooperation with the Human Resources Department. Once in quarter we organize short seminars to introduce to employees the results of recent months. I also have experience in change management according to the fact that internal communication plays an important role to inform the employees about changes. In internal communications, we use three languages: Estonian, Russian and English.
