I interviewed Monika when she first started at Engage-ESM. She initially became part on the Enhanced Support Team and very quickly established herself as one of the key contributors in the Team. Monika demonstrated that she not only had the technical skills she also had the soft skills which are really important in building relationships withy clients and becoming the customer's trusted advisor. During her time in the Enhanced Support team she carried out various activities from Incident Management, to managing and running ServiceNow Upgrades, to running mini projects, gathering the the requirement through designing and building the solution. When I moved into a new role acting as the Engaged Provider/Service Delivery Manager on a significant managed service project, I asked Monika to join. She threw herself into the project looking at processes we could introduce to improve the development process, managing a highly complex upgrade and then becoming the Stream Lead on one of the development pillars. She had to take over a team that was low on moral and with her positive energy she transformed the team into a high functioning, productive and happy area to work. She helped mentor individuals, and provided then with the tools and support they needed to do their job. She then took responsibility for another team which dealt with more complex development activities. Transitioning to her new team she ensured that her successor for her previous team was well supported to be able to build on the foundations she had established. With her new team Monika again led by example, and established a great team spirit and work ethic. She ran a multinational team and had to be aware of how things could be perceived and interpreted to ensure she got the maximum buy in from those around her. She was also confident enough to speak up to management if she felt a better approach could be taken. As one colleague described her "she is a force of nature". She has massive ability and commitment. Also a very good sense of humour. Somebody I have always enjoyed working with.

Monika was the leader of the team during my over year-long involvement in a highly challenging project. I can't imagine a better leader. Monika not only assembled a very strong team from a group of initially completely unfamiliar individuals but also worked on and helped us build relationship with a difficult and demanding client. She willingly and effectively assisted team members in both technical and non-technical matters, ensuring the development of team members. Every issue brought to her attention was appropriately addressed, which greatly facilitated the workflow. Observing her work, I learned a lot, and I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with her in the future. Monika unquestionably sets the bar high.
