I completed my third clinical rotation in the Transitional Care Unit of a hospital, working with patients mainly in the geriatric population. Our emphasis in treatment was on general strengthening and conditioning, as well as gait training, transfer training, and patient education. I also was able to rotate to different units of the hospital in acute care, including Telemetry, the Cardiac Care Unit, as well as the Lymphedema Clinic.
