  Rather than bore you with details about myself, I'd like to share a little something with you:A couple of years ago, during the worst of the COVID pandemic, I was diagnosed with a rare and very aggressive form of leukemia. I was in stuck in a reverse-isolation room, which I was not allowed to leave at all, for almost 2 months; I could not receive visitors, not because of COVID, but because I had no immune system and potentially the most minute thing could kill me.The first thing the company and my colleagues did after I was hospitalised was to send a fantastic foldable treadmill to my hospital room so that I could walk 5 minutes a day while looking out the window and help avoid a DVT.And then, when I was released from hospital but I still had to go through another 10 months of daily chemo treatments at the hospital, all I ever got from my CEO was support and understanding. Never once did I feel pressured to come back to work too soon, or did I ever receive anything other than full support for me and my family.When I was ready to come back to work, our CEO, Tor Hvas, listened to my health concerns and he made it so easy for me to slip into an administration-based role, where little by little I took on more responsibilities and I was encouraged to employ my experience, skills and can-do attitude to help him and the company in more complex and comprehensive matters and become an integral part of the exciting growth and development we have undergone in the past few months, and believe me, this is only the beginning.This is a company I am proud to work for every single day: integrity, core values, teamwork culture, hard work and a relentless pursuit for excellence in customer service and customer experience.
