It was such a pleasure to be led by Monica and the Talent Development team as a member of the Emerging Leaders Series Fall '21 cohort. Monica's warmth, thoughtfulness, and openness help build a culture of authenticity in these programs that is invaluable. It might seem impossible to build deep relationships with a large group of people over only five sessions, but Mo and her team cultivate a space that makes this possible and it is truly impressive. Monica provides such intentional encouragement and insight to leaders throughout our community, and we are all better for it. The impact she is having at the Grand Rapids Chamber is having a ripple effect throughout West Michigan that is truly an honor to be part of.

Monica is a wonderful colleague and friend. Over the last couple of years I have worked closely with her at trade shows and on several projects. I've continually watched her put a lot of hard work and passion into what she does. Monica focuses on building customer relationships through honesty, dedication, and trust. She puts in the extra time and effort to make sure that our customers are well taken care of. At the office she finds a way to bring a lot of positive energy to the team which ultimately brings everyone together.
