WOW I can't say enough about how fun it is to work with Monica Egert Smith. She is one of the most caring, warm, and charming people I have ever met, and has a positive approach to everything. Monica and I met early in my job at the American Heart Association when she had just moved over to the Communities Foundation of Texas. What is striking about Monica are her amazing listening skills paired with her ability to connect very quickly with the people she is with. She is a joy to have as a companion at a work meeting and is someone that even after an incredibly long day at work I would immediately want to stay back and have dinner with. Monica is the type of person who is the ultimate professional, and she represents CFT perfectly. I know they are proud to have her, almost as proud as I am to have her as a former colleague turned fabulous friend.

I have known Monica for over 9 years and found her to be a team member who works to establish standards and increase productivity in a high-pressure, mistake-free, time-delineated environment. Her quiet leadership style, 'can do' spirit, high-energy approach and 'round the clock access consistently creates value and increased productivity. Monica inspires a "what if we..." spirit with the existing staff. She is focused, result-oriented and driven to achieve verifiable results. She is committed to the team effort and is humble in her achievements. She will not dominate a conversation but will listen carefully and give direction. This combined effort yields a superior result. It was a pleasure working with her and I hope to do so again in the future.
