I hold different positions, including: 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 for the project "𝗡𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼", a course realised in collaboration with Università della terza Età: 12 theoretical lessons and practical strategies and activities with a group of people over 65. My role was to help coordinate group activities and I presented basic theoretical lessons on neuroscience for memory, attention and executive functions. 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 for the course "𝗣𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹'𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼" accredited by MIUR and Ufficio Scolastico Regionale. The purpose of this course was to help and support teachers to develop new strategies for learning, while providing basic knowledge of neuroscience. 𝗖𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 and 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 for 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗼𝗦𝗔 project (ComUnicare per cRescere In SAlute) in collaboration with ICGEB, Immaginario Scientifico and Università di Trieste, funded by the FVG Region with the aim of preventing oncological and cardiovascular diseases in adolescents through discussion games on various topics (HPV, smoking, alcohol, nutrition, sports and genetics). I have designed, coordinated and facilitated 12 meetings with classes from different secondary schools, held online. 𝗖𝗼-𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗔 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟𝗦, an 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 project of 𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗔, which every Thursday of the academic year provides a meeting between students (from elementary to secondary schools) and young researchers of SISSA, to talk about science and new researches in physics, mathematics and neuroscience. SissaMedialab is an in-house company of SISSA - International School for Advanced Studies - and it organizes events, educational programs, innovative projects to communicate science to different audiences, collaborating with several companies and research centres, institutions and networks in Italy and abroad. My role was to facilitate group activities during lessons, data collection and analysis to assess the effectiveness of the proposed intervention. Optimens was an association, with the aim of maintaining, or better improving, cognitive functions in over 65.
