Bio
Francesca Palmitessa
I had the pleasure to get to know professor Monica Basile a couple of years ago, while I was writing my bachelor thesis about crisis communication in the hospitality sector. She not only provided me with useful insights, but this evolved into something that goes beyond, it became a real mentorship. Indeed, Monica supported me before, during and after my bachelor sharing with me her knowledge, experience and valuable suggestions that helped me grow both in the academic and in the professional world. I will never thank professor Monica Basile enough for her time and her support, because it is clear that she does that because she genuinely believes in young talents!
Asia Troisio
Professor Monica Basile is a well-known expert in her field. Her article about the succession management for young hoteliers in hospitality family businesses has been incredibly useful when I was writing my Master's thesis. She was also very happy to be sent a copy of it and supportive about my career growth as a newly graduate. I wish I will be able to meet her in the future!
