Monetta is a highly skilled and professional meetings manager. During the 7 months that I over saw Monetta, she was incredibly reliable and accurate with her meetings and her responsibilities. Monetta was responsible for creating and maintaining the budgets for 12 new Diabetes programs. She was always researched and gathered accurate pricing from the vendors who would be providing services for these meetings. She was able to stay within or below her budgets for all her meetings. She also oversaw the budgets of her direct reports and provided advice and suggestions to them. Monetta served as a point contact between several departments; she communicated clearly and provided all departments with the necessary information for the meetings she managed. One of Monetta’s core strengths is her management and leadership skills. Her team trusted her and felt very comfortable coming to her with questions and advice on managing their meetings. Monetta received the MC Communications Excellence award in 2009, which was well deserved. This award was given to Monetta because she exectued a RFP for a new audio visual company which was a long process but she did not miss any details.
