My responsibility included writing articles catering to gender sensitization. Being a part of Teach for India, this initiative mostly focussed on interactions with school students. So the articles had to be simple and easily comprehensible. I went through a process of rigorous research regarding various genders, the complexities and discrimination faced by individuals who are outside the binary of gender, and the ways in which school children can develop a sensitive and accomodative approach… Show more My responsibility included writing articles catering to gender sensitization. Besides, I contributed two chapters for their toolkit on gender sensitization (a manual book that would provide children with a knowledge of the entire gender and sexuality spectrums)This work experience helped me to evolve personally and understand the nuances and importance of conducting similar gender sensitization projects.
