I had the privilege and joy of working with Mona for a few years, and during that time I witnessed her keen ability to secure major gifts and develop world-class relationships with donors and everyone she worked with internally. She is able to connect with anyone on a personal level and see opportunities before they arise. She brings creativity into fundraising, has great work ethics and broad knowledge of the social impact world, as well as a genuine interest in people and community well-being. She is warm, open-minded, generous and persistent. I am proud to call her a colleague, a friend, and a mentor!

I had the pleasure of working with Mona at the Asian Art Museum where she served as Major Gifts Officer when I was on the same team as Leadership Gifts Officer. We worked closely together to identify, cultivate and steward major donors for the museum. As a fundraiser, Mona is thoughtful, dedicated and strategic. She brings extensive knowledge and understanding of fundraising best practices to her work as MGO. She has a natural ability to connect with donors on a personal level, and makes the cultivation process looks effortless. She's thoughtful and remembers details of her interactions with each donor, and is thoroughly delightful at donor events. Mona's language skill and cultural sensitivity have proven to be a huge asset for the museum when building relationships with major donor prospects in Silicon Valley. As a colleague, she's collaborative, generous and engaging. I sincerely hope I will get to work with Mona again, and any development department would be lucky to have her on the team.
