A few years ago in my senior year of college, I decided to start my own business. I started making t-shirts simply as a hobby and quickly expanded to sell boutique clothing. I have a booth stocked with my inventory in three locations - Mercantile 423 in Johnson City, TN, Merc 423 in Bristol, TN and Merc 865 in Knoxville, TN. Duties included event planning and assisting Client Service Managers with daily operations. Planned and organized events such as a field trip for local 3rd - 6th graders and a Chili Cook-off for fans and the community to be involved in. Unfortunately this opportunity was cut short due to COVID-19, however I was still able to work closely with the hospitality team for multiple race events throughout the remainder of the year.
