  I am a Resource Parent Care Team Liaison (a.k.a. Foster Parent Liaison) for Spurwink within the Office of Child and Family Services at the Department of Health and Human Services. I ensure resource parents have everything they need to manage the stresses of fostering and best meet the safety and well-being needs of youth in their care. I help with parenting skills including approaching uncomfortable conversations, problem-solving difficult behavior, grief management and placement adjustment. I answer questions about navigating child protective services, I find material items that may be needed and provide information about community supports, training and connections with other resource parents.
