Cllr Alison Inglis-Jones
Molly is an extraordinarily talented communicator with remarkable talent for building relationships with journalists, achieving unique coverage, seeing the possibilities, and then maximising, every opportunity. She has an unrivalled eye for detail across the communication spectrum. She has an unsurpassed recognition and evaluation of the risks and benefits of every piece of outward facing organisational communication, from website to press release. This was acknowledged in her award in 2016 from CharityComms for inspiring communication. She is a passionate social justice campaigner and has worked beyond the call of duty, in too many instances to be numbered, to meet the needs of the most vulnerable and educate the public in the facts of the stories of those most in need. It was a privilege to work with her.

Molly seems to be a media coverage miracle worker! When people realise how successful she has been in putting the subject of food poverty onto the UK national agenda, she will win awards. And the results, not just for the Trussell Trust but for the people who have received emergency food, are truly remarkable. Passionate, committed, intelligent and eager to learn, Molly is a star.

40 million people are in slavery today, more than at any other time in history. International Justice Mission has a vaccine to stop slavery and violence against people in poverty. It's the biggest anti-slavery charity in the world and my role is to engage UK audiences - from government, to corporates and the public - in joining the global fight to end slavery in our lifetime.

It's rare to be able to do what you love for something that matters. Being PR Manager at The Trussell Trust, home of the UK Foodbank Network, meant that I used my PR, marketing and communications skills to help more people in crisis to receive support when they need it most. The Trussell Trust was one of the UK's fastest growing charities and was named 'Most Admired Charity 2013' by Third Sector as voted by CEOs across UK charities. I started The Trussell Trust’s Marketing and PR team and grew it from a team of one to seven, significantly increasing the profile of food poverty in the UK. During this time, The Trussell Trust’s Foodbank network grew from 17 foodbanks to over 300.My role included: media relations; copywriting and editing; web and social media management; creating and promoting campaigns; delivering training on PR and branding; developing marketing literature and communications strategies.
