Deakin Sport Management students spent two weeks working with professional and other sport properties as part of the San Diego Sports Consulting Project (SDSCP), run by Ohio University. The SDSCP is designed to give students an opportunity to leverage our existing business skills, as well as develop new ones, in an exciting and challenging sports business environment. As Deakin graduate students, we were teamed up with graduate students from Ohio University and served as project co-managers in overseeing a team of undergraduate students from DePaul University, University of Ohio, and Ohio University. Students worked as student consultants on projects with San Diego area professional and other sport properties.
