Card and gifts Packer
-
Jun 2020 - Aug 2020
After I submitted my University coursework I got a job as a card picker for the luxury gifts company Whistlefish. In this role, I had to be meticulous as I had to complete a certain number of orders per hour with a small margin for error. I am very grateful to have been able to work safely through a global pandemic. After I submitted my University coursework I got a job as a card picker for the luxury gifts company Whistlefish. Student Representative
-
Sep 2018 - Aug 2020
Alongside my degree, I acted as the student representative for the University of Birmingham's History of Art department blog - The Golovine. In this role, I gained communication skills as I had to converse regularly with other students who wanted to write for the blog. I consulted with students about their ideas helping them develop and hone in on the subject of their blog. I gained editorial experience from this role, as I had to edit and question other student's work to make sure that it was accessible for every reader. Furthermore, I worked with another student to redesign the Golovine website and launch an Instagram page (@uobarthistory) in order to increase website traffic and awareness of The Golovine. I have gained experience in social media strategy and marketing. Show less

Sep 2018 - Jul 2019
I was captain of a 12-women squad in my second year at university. I undertook a variety of roles as team captain, including managing competition admin, liaising with our coach about training sessions and ensuring my players were happy and healthy by regularly meeting them outside of netball. I learnt how to communicate effectively between my coach and the players while ensuring that I was motivated and enthusiastic.
