After I submitted my University coursework I got a job as a card picker for the luxury gifts company Whistlefish. In this role, I had to be meticulous as I had to complete a certain number of orders per hour with a small margin for error. I am very grateful to have been able to work safely through a global pandemic. After I submitted my University coursework I got a job as a card picker for the luxury gifts company Whistlefish. • Sep 2018 - Aug 2020

Alongside my degree, I acted as the student representative for the University of Birmingham's History of Art department blog - The Golovine. In this role, I gained communication skills as I had to converse regularly with other students who wanted to write for the blog. I consulted with students about their ideas helping them develop and hone in on the subject of their blog. I gained editorial experience from this role, as I had to edit and question other student's work to make sure that it was accessible for every reader. Furthermore, I worked with another student to redesign the Golovine website and launch an Instagram page (@uobarthistory) in order to increase website traffic and awareness of The Golovine. I have gained experience in social media strategy and marketing. Show less
