  Filmbase was a not-for-profit resource centre for filmmakers in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar. It was a public space where filmmakers can network, hire filmmaking equipment, take training courses and receive support and information about working within the Irish film industry. Filmbase also published the cultural magazine Film Ireland and administered a number of film and documentary production award schemes. It closed in 2018.
