VWG simplifies the task of developing web applications like very nearly as developing a desktop application. So this project exposes a developer to both a web development and a desktop development paradigm. The project contains VWG screens to ASP.NET pages with enriched DEV Express controls that provide state of the art service to clients and help them achieve their business goals effectively. Most of the business logic is developed in backend using stored procedures and frontend is left to just present the data.   Client - Object Builders (www.objectbuilders.com)Project – GUI Controls Library (http://www.objectbuilders.com/LiveApp-Thin-Client-GUI.html)A user control library which is built with JavaScript and MooTools. My part is to enhance performance of individual controls in the following aspects…• Fast rendering of controls.• Improve & facilitate user experience.• Avoid memory leaks.As this control library is still in its early days so I am also involved in fixing the bugs.I am also involved in preparing technical documents only specific to the current project.Project – Component BrowserA C#.NET based application that is used to browse XML files and display the data in a tree structure and lets users to modify XML files. This project was deployed before my arrival on this project.My job is fix issues or to do enhancements if required by client.Project - Chat MessengerA chat application that is developed for both thick and thin clients. Thick client application is developed using C# (.NET Framework 4). Thin client application is developed using JavaScript, HTML. Both applications use the same server and database hence users of both the clients can chat with each other.My job was to code for both applications on client application level with assistance of team/project lead.
