      The current world population is 7.5 billion as of May 2017 according to the most recent United Nations estimates elaborated by Worldometers¹, and still growing rapidly. This has resulted in mass urbanization and a changing in the relation between urban mass and void spaces. Due to the constant rise of urban density, the need for public spaces is more critical than ever. We believe that, in order to increase the amount of public spaces in the future, these spaces needed to be integrated in the future verticality of the city. ‘3D Landscapes’ focuses on designing the future of public spaces through employing generetive and computational design techniques to increase both the quality and quantity of public spaces in the future.
