I joined ViraTech as a software engineer, in a web enterprise project, including messaging system, business process management system, and document management system. As a Java development team we used Spring framework and Hibernate and zk framework to develop these products. The deployment environment was centos and Debian Linux, and Apache Tomcat server. The version control system was SVN. Designing and Developing complicated enterprise software, was a good way to learn practical software architecture.After some months, I was promoted to the technical team lead, leading a team of five developers, and that was the beginning of my path in engineering management. Interacting, coordinating and aligning team members including backend developers, frontend developers and software designers, pushed me to learn soft skills, alongside my technical skills.
