Co-Founder and CEO of Majulah Community. From 2010 to 2013, Majulah was a volunteer-led initiative. I took up the challenge to spearhead Majulah, full time from 2014. The vision was to create positive impact for the society through sustainable, youth-led initiatives. Majulah started with no capital. We bootstrapped for the first few years to ensure that we were operationally sustainable. Majulah's revenue grew year to year amounting to about $2.5 million in 5 years. When I left, there were 10 fulltime staff employed with 1 year of cashflow reserves for the team.
