      NBA is a South African-based multidisciplinary organization that delivers tailored services to assist clients to achieve their education-related goals. This includes strategic planning and policy advice, qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation, and development and adaptation of teaching and learning materials. Mohini was a full-time employee at NBA from May 2017 to June 2022. Since July 2022, she has been working for NBA as an independent contractor. Featured projects - Managed a research project on Artificial Intelligence (AI) capacity building needs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Mohini acted as project manager and led qualitative and quantitative research with Centres of Higher Education and Training, and the AI community in the region, as well as engaged with an intergovernmental organization on Sub-Saharan African governments’ requirements. The project delivered a compendium report, which explored these stakeholders’ AI capacity building needs in detail. - Led research on African OER initiatives to assess their long-term contribution to establishing sustainable OER practices in African higher education. Mohini facilitated qualitative research with representatives of eleven African OER initiatives, which resulted in the development of in-depth case studies for all initiatives, together with an analytical report that summarised initiatives' successes, challenges, and lessons learnt. - Conducted research and evaluation on African-based youth entrepreneurship and career development programmes. This included analysis and reporting on different elements of the programme and conducting field research on programme implementation in South Africa, Rwanda, and Uganda. - Managed and conducted research for a project for a Flemish non-profit organization on developing an OER digital library of Inclusive Education Materials for professional development and initial teacher education for Foundation Phase and Intermediate Phase teachers in South Africa.
