  Had been selected to undergo MRB training by Airbus Defence and Space (ADS), formerly known as Airbus MIlitary (AiM) in Spain in 2013, with less than 2 years of working experience in Composite Repair.Has the authority to design repair and provide disposition for ADS A400M composite panels with non-conformance.Responsibilities as MRB Engineer are:1) Participate in MRB meeting to provide technical support for non-conformance assessment.2) Give disposition to ADS A400M composite panels with non-conformance.3) Provide technical support and consultancy to Quality Team regarding composite defects and their disposition.4) Bridge between CTRM Quality Team, Composite Repair Team and ADS MRB Team.5) Liaise with ADS MRB Team to ensure the solution is in line with ADS requirement.6) Give technical support to other work packages in CTRM-AC, such as A380 FLELP, A350 J-Nose, A320 Spoiler & A320 Moveable Faring concerning non-conformance.Also acts as Composite Repair Engineer for various work packages in CTRM-AC, such as A380 FLELP and B767/B777 Propulsion Structure and System. (CTRM-AC) as Composite Repair Engineer.Responsible to lead, coordinate, and supervise repair activities for B787 Fan Cowl panels, V2500 Outer Panels, Geared-Turbo Fan (GTF) Fan Cowls, A400M tail plane, A400M engine cowlings, A320 Spoilers and B767/B777 Propulsion Structure and System composite panels; including repair involving autoclave. Also has experience in performing hands-on minor repair activities involving wet layup and resin injection.Participate in MRB activities for various work packages in CTRM-AC to advise the possibility of repair for composite panels with non-conformance.Ensure smooth tasks execution and completion, and provide solution, either technical or non-technical on any arising issues face during the course of work. • Aerospace Engineer Trainee (2nd Part)

  For the next eleven (11) months of LEADER Aerospace Programme, the trainee were attached to various departments to experience the overall process and understand the implication of stress and design work on composite manufacturing aspect.1) August 2011 - Stress Section, Engineering Department- Develop method to simulate Autoclave Thermal Survey using Nastran & Patran on B777 Thumbnail. 2) July 2011 - Composite Repair Section, Engineering Department- Assists Composite Repair Engineer in repair processes of B787 Fan Cowl panels.3) April 2011 till June 2011 - A400M Project, Technical Services Department- Provide support to A400M Manufacturing Engineer involving CATIA & CATIA Composite.4) January 2011 - Lean Team, Continuous Improvement Department- Performs Continuous Improvement Activities to B787 Fan Cowls Clean Room & Mechanical Assembly areas. • Aerospace Engineer Trainee (1st Part)

  LEADER Aerospace program is an initiative by Malaysian government through Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Malaysian Aerospace Council (MAC) collaborated with three (3) aerospace key players in Malaysia, Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM), Spirit Aerosystems Malaysia and STRAND Aerospace Malaysia.The objectives of the program are to develop human capital capable of serving as Aerospace Engineers, namely Stress & Design Engineers in the three (3) participating companies and be part of Malaysian Aerospace Community in global aerospace supply chain, serving the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) such as Airbus and BOEING.Only twenty-four (24) graduates are chosen from more than one thousand (1,000) applicants to be part of the program.The training consists of five (5) months classroom training on stress and design engineering and eleven (11) months of on job training at respective companies. The first five (5) months of training covers software such as CATIA, CATIA Composite, Nastran, Patran & OptiStruct. CATIA, Nastran, Patran training sessions were conducted by FEIRAN Technologies. CATIA Composite session by DASSAULT Systemes, India & OptiStruct by ALTAIR, USA.Within that five (5) months period, the training also covers on Composite Manufacturing by CTRM-Aero Composites, Composite Assembly & Aircraft Design by SPIRIT Aerosystems and Stress Analysis by STRAND Aerospace at their respective facilities.Aside from that, the trainee are also exposed to soft skills, management skill and communication skill, especially email communication.
