  I was working as an Production Engineer at ACG an ISO and OHSAS certified company. My job profile was as a Product leader for one of the most critical and profit-making department of ACG PAM. I was looking about 100 variety of components.My base role was that all the parts as scheduled should reach on or before time so that assembly can be done on time.I was looking after various drive parts and final assly components. These components are very critical require various operations to be performed like heattreatment, blackening, grinding, milling and plating. I have to plan in such fashion that we achieve our committed date.I was working on components with the tolerance limit of 0.02mm i.e., 20microns. These parts should look good aesthetically, as well as are dimensionally very critical, making it a great challenge to work on. My job profile includes production activities for more than 1000 parts. To streamline the production of our most critical components for interchangable spare part, improvise its aesthetics and minimize the lead time for the parts. Show less

  I was recruited to Strategic Sourcing Team departmentad JE after my acknowledging my work in purchase department .In this depart ment I learned about cost estimation of manufacturing parts,vendor selection, rate negotiations and all the new manufacturing processes. My role was to study the part drawing released by design department for new projects then to find the sources of supply for the samsame part and then to negotiate the price of parts with help of standard rates available with us.

  I joined ACG group as management trainee where I along with other new recruits were given three months projects under various business units and departments. 1. Tabletting business unit (unit in which we assemble tablet manufacturing machine) in this unit I was in purchase department looking about various purchase activities and also I made project to reduce the lead time of purchasing of parts by preparing reports and analyzing long lead parts. 2. After 3 months tenure my business unit was changed to Secondary Packing Division I was in Assembly department in which I had project to design layout in such a way that we can assemble more than 6 machines in the same space available. In which I along with all team members were successfully able to double the production by changing the angle of machines being assembled and also with help of Autocad software and marking of borders in layout . 3. Again after 3 months I was given project in design department to make the 3d model and virtually design copies of the new Dynamic Chechweigher machine with the help of Auto Cad, Solid works and Solid Edge. In this project I learnt about new new software of Solidedge and also I completed the given project. Show less
