I worked with the US embassy as a Project Coordinator for the ‘Lines and Spaces’ program. It is a program hosted under the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program. I was in charge of coordinating an educational tour for a group of writers from the USA and Nigeria. Through the tour, they conducted workshops in creativity and writing, and gave seminars on world literature, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural dialogue. Before the tour, the writers conducted a creative writing workshop for Moroccan youth (BTL alumni and selected students from the ALCs) in Tangier. http://themoroccantimes.com/2017/07/22473/linesspaces-an-american-organized-writers-tour-introduces-the-youth-of-morocco-to-creative-writing https://iwp.uiowa.edu/programs/reading-abroad/2017-Morocco Show less
