Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operational activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory. Supervise inbound and outbound activities. Responsible for the processing of purchase requisitions and responsible for releasing of payment to suppliers via finance department. Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required. Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse. Demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment. Participate in various warehouse activities (taking appointments for government related deliveries, handling petty cash, etc.) Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures, advise budget related needs. Knowledge of: Warehouse and stock control methods and procedures Methods of processing Purchase Requisition, releasing Purchase Orders, receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials to internal branches Warehouse operations procedures equipment and terminology Space utilization and inventory techniques Record keeping techniques.
