Quantitative Interpretation Geophysicists (Reservoir Characterization): Carry out 3D seismic (sparse spike) inversion using Hampson & Russell STRATA. Mapping of seismic amplitudes on 3D data, and carry out Spectral decomposition using Shell’s GeoSign (nDI) Interpretation platform. Acted as stand-in for the Head of Geophysics for to two seismic processing projects (one 2D project and one 3D reprocessing project situated in the Rub Al_Khali desert. Acted as stand-in for geomatics, providing GIS mapping services to the Evaluation (Exploration), Field Development and Drilling departments, Using ArcGIS 10. Handling of data management and logistics of seismic field tapes (Tape store). Preparation of a Tape copying/transcription project, including liaison with Contracting and Procurement. HSSE focal point for geophysics department and a member of Al-Murshidoon (HSSE group). Junior Operations Geophysicist / Junior Processing Geophysicist : Worked in seismic field operations (HSE, Survey, Front Crew, Back Crew, Trouble Shooter, QC, and Recording Truck). Worked in uphole and gravity surveys. Gained experience in Low Frequency (LF) seismic acquisition/processing, spectral decomposition, merging between 2D lines, seismic processing and data manipulation. Show less

During undergraduate university, joined Saudi Aramco Summer Training Programs for three consecutive two months placements with Exploration Operations Department. The first summer, I worked in seismic field operations with the ARAGAS and WesternGeco Crews. The second and third summer, I worked on a student rotation scheme spending a week in the Geological Laboratories, Petrophysical Laboratories, Core Handling, Core Characterization, Well Site Department, Geophysical Data Acquisition Department, and Seismic Processing Department.
