  The Industry Simulation Program (ISP) is a one-month offline training belonging to SPE Egyptian Section, and aims to develop the technical and soft skills required for fresh graduates in Oil and Gas sector. This training covers a set of intensive sessions presented by the petroleum industry pioneers and hosted by the national petroleum companies in Egypt. At the end of the program, there is a final project to be presented by the participating teams to conclude what they got and make a full integration among the different disciplines in the training program, including: Geology & Geophysics, Drilling, Reservoir, Production, and Processing Engineering.

My team and I spent three days in the Solid Control Workshop and surveyed the used equipment, its design & operation mechanism. • Visiting the Baroid MENA Regional Lab, taking a comprehensive overview about drilling mud, discovering its way of preparation, understanding the way of measuring the plastic viscosity and the other desired properties, and finally performing the API & HPHT tests on prepared samples.
