  Implementation and acceleration of a face detection algorithm on a Zybo Z20 FPGA with Pcam camera. Real time face detection achieved by parallelizing frame capture and display (by processor using an embedded Linux) with face detection IP (Hardware). Final project also included a real time face recognition (software) along with face detection (Hardware) by writing a multi thread C++ program.
