•Entrusted to collaborate the ongoing rehabilitation operations of Zubair NGL/LPG plant to increase the gas production capacity in Iraq from 400 million to 2 billion ft3 per day. Role required constant engagement and coordination with senior engineering staff towards devising the forward plans for the ongoing world’s largest flare reduction project. •Organized and evaluated the micro fiche data related to the project and prepared files on essential plant information comprising of project scope, process description, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, operating manuals and specification sheets. Consequently, this saved invaluable amount of time aimed at easy future access of vital plant info. •Simplified material balance around the major process units of the plant. Solved and restructured the simulation model of the whole plant using UniSim Design which bolstered my knowledge of process modelling and designing. •Communication and networking skills were further developed when liaising with experienced professionals whilst presenting them key design data and reviewing ongoing design issues. Received positive acknowledgement for my effort to be consistent in performing tasks, which raised my confidence and determination. Show less
