With The Dalton School, I've been able to work with high school students to help them create solid foundations in predominantly Physics, but also Chemistry and Biology. I used and instructed students in background knowledge in STEM fields to actively engage students in discussion pertaining to their class and guided students on following correct scientific procedure to solve questions as well as proctored exams to ensure student success. I'm currently working on projects under the guidance of Professor Ronald Koder in CCNY's Center for Discovery and Innovation's Structural & Molecular Biology Lab. These projects involve knowledge and understanding of principles of organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and biophysics. Using these STEM disciplines, I designed experiments for the collection of data in projects correlating to structural and molecular biology and employed the use of Structured Analytical Techniques to extrapolate turning points from large data sets to visualize trends to be used in publications. During my time with the Koder Lab, I have been given the opportunity to contribute to a couple research papers and projects by using ligand induced folding on design proteins via allosteric conformational binding.Currently, my work centers on using kinases and phosphatases to actuate ligand induced folding in supercharged designed proteins. • Adjunct Lecturer
      • Aug 2022 - Jun 2023

During my graduate academic career, I was given the privilege to lead Physics lab class sections of over 30 students a semester to teach students the fundamentals of General and University Physics and than enforced the concepts they learned through laboratory experiments. These students had backgrounds in a myriad of STEM disciplines and during my classes I ensured that not only the curriculum was covered, but that the students understood the principles of Physics. If any student(s) had any difficulties with the subject matter, I actively engaged and mentored the student(s) and employed the use of biophysics in applications to build not only confidence in what they practiced, but passion for Physics as well. During my time with the Mathico School of Mathematics and College Prep, I assisted a range of students from mid-elementary to late-high school in math and science. I covered tutoring in both college and high school level STEM courses as well as middle school mathematics and assisted in prepping student(s) for the AP Physics 1, 2, C – Mechanics, and C – Electricity and Magnetism examinations. I've worked diligently to always try to guide and mentor students to the most efficient studying strategies that work for them - my approach has merited students 4s and 5s on their AP examinations which gave them college credit before even beginning college.
