  Roles and Responsibilities -Coordinate drawings from different aspects (Structure, Architectural, MEP, etc…. at early stages of project to issue RFIs if there is any conflict. -Review & Ensure that drawings are complying with civil defense, Dubai Municipality and other authorities requirements. -Leading a team of Junior Engineer, draftsman to issue all shop drawings needed. -Review Subcontractors shop drawings before submitting to Engineer. -Monitor and track project’s progress, quality of work and handle any issues that arise. -Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants. -Review field inspection reports from Engineer throughout the lifecycle of the project. -Track & manage contemplated change notices, changes and update planning department. -Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information. -Report and escalate to management as needed. -Attend site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members. -Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations -Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, and correspondences. -Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval. -Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. -Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team. -Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
