As a survey engineer at Sedad Company I have the honor to bear the following duties as work: Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects and create records of survey results Prepare detailed design drawings (primarily using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and related applications and software) for a variety of assigned engineering projects. Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates to determine design specifications. Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications. Participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction. Coordinate the preparation of documents required for approvals ,such as bid proposals, prepare development and construction cost estimates and tender documents and contracts, and coordinate with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved. Provide technical advice regarding production of engineering designs and drawings that meet all client and approval agency requirements and standards. supervise and provide training and mentorship to junior technical staff Show less
