- Provide effective and timely communication with all cabin personnel as it relates to scheduling activities and schedule deviations • Planning/scheduling of flight crew resources to ensure maximum utilization of the fleet by applying regulatory requirements (FTL), contractual rules and crew member qualifications, as well as established policy and procedure of the company • Coordinate training, qualifications, and other data with crew scheduling on a continual basis • Provide reporting on daily schedules and department status. • Book, monitor and cancel travel, hotels and ground transportation based on company needs, while monitoring and mitigating travel costs. • Monitor and uphold compliance with federal laws and contractual compliance of flight crewmember schedules for a day-to- day operations. - Works together with Operations Control Center (OCC) personnel, Flight Operations, and Inflight management to ensure a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation • Apply federal regulations, contract rules, and crewmember qualifications, and established company policy and procedure in assigning uncovered flying • Process flight crew member requests including leave of absence coding and required training events, as well as confirm availability for the monthly crew schedule • Employ several and varied software systems to complete assigned tasks. - Coordinates hotel volume and requirements with crew accommodations provider. - Completes monthly optimization of crew pairings for Flight Crew to minimize travel and operations costs and maximize Crew efficiency - Perform other duties as directed by the Manager of Crew Planning.
