  Supervision: Directly supervise and manage a team of production operators, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations. Production Planning: Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop production schedules and ensure that manufacturing goals are met. Adjust production schedules as needed to accommodate changing priorities. Quality Assurance: Ensure all production activities meet quality standards, and products are manufactured in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct regular quality checks and address deviations promptly. Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety within the production team. Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training, and promptly address any safety concerns or incidents. Process Optimization: Continuously monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality. Implement process enhancements as approved. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, batch documentation, and other relevant documentation required for regulatory compliance and audit purposes. Inventory Management: Coordinate with the Materials Management team to ensure adequate availability of raw materials and components for production. Monitor and control inventory levels as needed. Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines. Ensure production processes are compliant with FDA or other relevant regulatory agency requirements. Team Development: Train, develop, and evaluate production staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and individual growth. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Maintenance. Show less
