Technical Assistance for Policy Reform (TAPR-II) is a USAID funded program that includes a number of projects that aim to trigger reform in many sectors inside the Egyptian government. The word 'reform' refers to both procedural and technical reform i.e. the program assists the Egyptian government to establish a regulatory and informational environment that helps the country satisfy the international standards in various fields such as microeconomics, trade facilitation, customs, pension, insurance, health, legislation, housing, education, etc. The program is divided into a number of components in which significant governmental entities, international advisors, and global organization are involved.
