I have known Mohamed for about ten years and have been following his Geophysical career since was working for Repsol. He was working for Geotrace which had awarded a large 3D seismic processing project involving two prospects blocks, almost 8000sqkm, with serious geophysical issues to be solved; such as refraction statics from very high sand dunes in one block to gravel plan on the other one. Noise attenuation to preserve relative amplitude it was quite challenge. Velocity field was extremely difficult to picked. Mohamad handle all the issues with a maturity and knowledge only found on very few processing geophysicist that I had cross in my long career. He is a pleasant person to deal with any issue. He always has a friend smile of hope in any stressful situation. He does have a strong geophysical knowledge and a positive attitude to any client's technical concerns. He did deliver our project with the best geophysical practice; focus on the scope of the work, deadlines and client satisfaction. His positive work provided our Geo-scientists with excellent 3D seismic volumes. I certainly recommend Mohamed to a position as Processing Supervisor.
