  End of studies' project : The Study of corrosion in API 5LX42 pipelines. Studied the corrosion types affecting the API 5LX42 pipelines using the optical microscope. Calculated the degradation rate of the pipeline by electrochemical tests & Estimated at 26 years the lifespan. Quantified the probability of faillure by corrosion of a pipeline and elaborated a variety of possible accident scenarios and checklists suitable for the inspection of pipe corrosion.
