I had the pleasure of working closely with Mohamed during our EMBA course at Oxford. During classes, he showed his deep understanding he has on aerospace design (the A380 development) and supply chain (how small body Airbus planes are assembled), complementing and sometimes correcting the actual teaching material or lecture content. As members of the same GOTO (Global Opportunities and Threats - Oxford) project, focusing on wearable healthcare, I had the opportunity to watch as he deftly used his acquired expertise in the aerospace industry to a totally different field, with a capacity to do so with a focus in the future rather than just diagnosing the present - the fact that our project managed to predict the current push towards health (rather than fitness) centric wearable functions such as respirometry or ECG-based health warnings several months ahead of the actual products being announced is a testament to that. Since then, the grit he showed in launching and developing his new company, during the COVID pandemic, while developing an innovative valuation model for SME M&A is a testament to his capacity to deliver quality in difficult times, without backing down from challenges. Given the opportunity, I would not hesitate to work with him in the future.
