Egyptian steel is a leading company in producing constructions material in environmental friendly plants in the middle east.Having a wide experience in steel making and rolling mill equipment maintenance and condition monitoring like; Bar mills with many kinds of Gearboxes, Conveyors, Overhead Cranes, many kinds of Pumps, Fans, etc.Condition Monitoring Duties:• Leading and training Condition monitoring team through daily routine data collection and analysis.• Upgrading condition monitoring and predictive maintenance program for fixed plant.• Monitor equipment by Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound inspection, Oil Analysis & Thermography Inspection.• Utilizing the data from initial inspections, tests, and other activities to verify that assets are healthy.• Upgrading and improving predictive maintenance program for fixed plant equipment by studying machine criticality and determine the time based for monitoring and the technique.• Create data base for fixed plant equipment at AMS Suit software for vibration analysis.• Performing vibration data collecting and analysis by Emerson CSI 2140 vibration analyzer.• Performing (ODS) operational deflection shape test by ME Scope.• Creating data base for fixed plant equipment at DMS6 software for Ultrasound analysis.• Performing Ultrasound data collection and analysis by UE systems UP 15000 Ultrasound device. • Performing thermography data collection by FLIR T530 and T460 thermal Camera.Reliability Duties:• Evaluate equipment failure modes, to develop solutions for eliminating/mitigating potential failures.• Advise engineers in maintenance meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations.• Evaluate equipment history and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance.• Develop Reliability Best Practices and collaboratively work through common issue.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

working as a day shift mechanical maintenance engineer in both sides of planet (steel making and rolling mill) added a lot to my personality and my bank of knowledge, as i worked with many different equipment and responsibility. troubleshooting, putting a maintenance plan and history cards for each equipment in order to track it's failure rate and mean time between failures, putting work instructions and work procedures, risk assessment for some jobs.
