Practicing good husbandry management in all exhibits Conducting daily water quality and systems checks in a consistent manner. Execute diet preparation and feeding for both aquatic and terrestrial animals. Culturing live food organisms for specific animal feedings. Handle live animal shipments and acclimation processes. Having good experience in handling Arctic birds such as Puffins, Arctic terns and Harlequinn ducks - guest encounter, enrichments, feed training etc., Performs daily monitoring and assessment of aquatic animals, their health, treatment and management to ensure the highest level of quality throughout the aquarium facility. Assists the aquarists and senior aquarist teams in the development of new exhibits. Observing and logging of animal behavior, treatment and feeding documentation. Diving as required for maintenance and feeding in various exhibits. Sound knowledge in guest feedings and animal encounters like Arctic birds such as puffins, Harlequinn ducks and arctic terns. Reports any husbandry issues to the aquarists and aquarist supervisor. Report to the Veterinarian any abnormalities regarding animal health and assist with medications.
