  As the Head of the Department of Program and Protocol for MyTech Career Fair 2023 at the University of Malaya, I had the privilege of leading a dedicated team of ten members to plan and execute a two-day event that significantly contributed to the success of the fair. Key Accomplishments: Event Coordination: Orchestrated the planning and seamless execution of a prestigious two-day career fair, featuring participation from over 15 prominent companies in the tech and computer science fields. Team Leadership: Successfully led and motivated a team of ten individuals, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and division of responsibilities to ensure the event's success. Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engaged in discussions and negotiations with external parties, including corporate sponsors, industry professionals, and university stakeholders, fostering strong partnerships and sponsorship opportunities for the event. Program Development: Coordinated the development and delivery of a dynamic program, including six highly interactive workshops, two engaging forums, and two insightful company talks. These initiatives enriched the career fair experience and provided valuable knowledge-sharing opportunities for students and attendees.   As the Director of Information Systems Department Day, I successfully organized and led the event with over 200 participants. Working alongside a team of 35 committee members, we planned and executed various activities that motivated students through team-building, introduced the Information Systems Department to new students, and conducted knowledge-sharing activities. I also had the opportunity to work closely with the department's lecturers, establishing a good working relationship and ensuring their participation in the event. Through this experience, I strengthened my relationship management, communication, and leadership skills. We received positive feedback from participants, and our team fostered a spirit of good teamwork among students and lecturers. This experience provided me with invaluable leadership and event planning experience, enabling me to strengthen my skill set and contribute meaningfully to the Information Systems Department's ongoing initiatives.   As a Student Representative for the UM-UI Creates Mobility Program, I was responsible for ensuring the smooth registration process for UM students and coordinating the exchange culture slot for UI students. This included preparing and organizing the forum "Understanding Malaysian Culture," in which I served as the keynote speaker. My main responsibility was to prepare the exchange culture slot for UI students, which involved researching and designing cultural activities and events to promote cross-cultural understanding. I also served as the keynote speaker for the forum "Understanding Malaysian Culture," providing an in-depth understanding of Malaysian culture and history to UI students. By organizing and facilitating this event, I was able to promote mutual understanding between UM and UI students and facilitate cross-cultural exchange. This experience allowed me to develop my project management, research, and leadership skills while gaining valuable insights into the cross-cultural exchange. Show less
