Melissa and I worked on the Infotech Fees Committee for several years and I was impressed by her dedication to the job, her incredible breadth of knowledge about the people and places important to IT and her interest in promoting education through the use of technology. She continues to serve the university in other capacities and makes use of these same skills and abilities. She is also an excellent speaker and a wonderful friend.

Melissa and I worked together when the U of M was a client of IP Unity Glenayre. She was really tremendous to work with. We submitted together to do a presentation at the ACUTA Conference in 2007. She was completely willing to share with our audience the pain points as well as the positives of the implementation of our system. Her presentation style was open and knowledgeable - she handled every question with ease and she was able to position the University as a thought and technology leader. I appreciate her professionalism and her work ethic and tremendous knowledge of both telecommunications and the university structure.
