WPD, SSE, UKPN, ENWL and Northern Powergrid – More than 200MW of 11kV/33kV PV, wind farm, CHP, energy from waste, diesel engine and gas turbine power stations: o Lead engineer and project manager of more than 200MW connection compliance projects in various DNO areas o Responsibilities include build of electrical network models from DNO data and power station sites from client archives o Connection studies comprise G5/4 harmonics, P28/P29 and fault contribution onto DNO network o Fault level assessment, protection coordination and transient stability o Production of associated technical reports. Further Responsibilities: • Site surveys inspecting parallel operation of diesel generators as well as harmonic surveys at power stations, DNO substations and client sites • DNO LTDS archive research extracting data for electrical network modelling and tabulation of study results for report purposes • Quality checking and proofing of self and others’ results and technical reports • Building and maintaining client relationships through liaising, technical support and resolution of technical issues.
