Michael commenced his studies with us in September 2004. He excelled in his first programme of study, B.Eng.Tech in Manutronics Automation. During the programme he spent a full semester in work-placement with Xsil. His diligence and work ethic came to the fore and he received excellent feedback from his employers. His performance in this programme provided for advanced access into the 3rd year of the hounours degree programme, the B.E. in Manufacturing & Design Engineering. Michael performed very well in all aspects of assessment and achieved an honours 2.1 award classification. He scored particularly highly in his project work/dissertation which indicates his capacity for self-directed learning and problem-solving as well as technical competency. Michael is a conscientious young man of personable character and I have no doubt he will be successful in whatever field he chooses to follow.

Micheál Donohoe

When at Xsil, Michael was hardworking and trustworthy. He showed initiative and worked well on team as well as individual tasks.
