We develop mathematical models based on phase-field theory to study biological systems. The aim is to apply minimalist models in order to propose new hypothesis or suggest answers for open questions. This is an interdisciplinary work that demands a conjoint effort among different fields of knowledge. Subjects of research: - Cellular migration during metastasis; - Angiogenesis in health and disease; - Diffuse gastric cancer dynamics; - Mitochondrial trajectory analysis; - Axonal growth.
