In this role, I lead a senior management team and I’m accountable for a high-level strategic, operational and technical leadership role. I champion strategies and business critical projects to improve the quality of the products we produce whilst reducing operating cost. I’m proud to say that in this role, my team and I have: ► Returned the company the company to profitability within 18 months by identifying and rectifying causes of scrap and bottlenecks to customer delivery. ► Implemented world-class manufacturing (WCM) practices. This has inspired staff to have a positive attitude and unity in working towards common goals and we have significantly improved the results of performance against plan in production. ► Received board approval for capital investment to replace obsolete machines and refurbish machines. This has enabled the factory to improve product quality whilst reducing costs. ► Developed staff by investing in formal education and training programs and taking operators to visit original equipment manufacturers.
